Ontario Personal Support Worker Educators Group
WHO WE ARE
OPSWEG is the provincial branch of the Canadian Association of Continuing Care Educators (CACCE). It is open to all educators in Ontario that fall under the CiCan. The purpose of this network is to provide a platform for all educators, who teach unregulated care providers (UCP), programs to collaborate, be informed, and advocate for the UCP workers who are recognized and valued for what they bring to health care across Ontario. These educators include part-time, full-time clinical, and theory Faculty at colleges across the province.
MISSION STATEMENT
We are the professional forum for influential PSW educators driving change in Ontario. Through collaboration and advocacy, we promote excellence in PSW practice and facilitate PSW educators to actively participate in shaping public policies that direct the future of vital roles the PSWs play in the healthcare system.
VISION STATEMENT
We champion the valuable roles of PSWs by engaging in an exchange of knowledge and continuous learning to cultivate unity among educators.
